PickSharper Prediction & Ranking Rules
Effective Date: June 4, 2026 Last Updated: June 4, 2026 Status: Beta Launch
These Prediction & Ranking Rules explain how predictions, virtual points, simulated results, rankings, leaderboards, and AI predictions work on PickSharper.
These Rules are part of the PickSharper platform rules and should be read together with the Terms of Use, Privacy & Cookies Policy, Community Rules, and Responsible Use / No Gambling Notice.
1. Core principle
PickSharper is a football prediction and analytics platform.
PickSharper is not a betting, gambling, wagering, sportsbook, casino, lottery, prize-game, or real-money platform.
All predictions, odds, virtual points, simulated returns, ROI-style metrics, net-profit-style metrics, rankings, leaderboards, and AI outputs are for informational, analytical, educational, social, and entertainment purposes only.
Virtual points have no monetary value.
2. Sports supported at launch
At beta launch, PickSharper supports football predictions.
Additional sports may be added later.
3. Prediction types
Prediction types at beta launch include:
- 1X2 (match result);
- double chance;
- both teams to score;
- over/under total goals;
- first-half result;
- over/under first-half goals;
- over/under total corners (full match);
- over/under total cards (full match);
- other football-related prediction categories added by PickSharper.
First-half corner and card markets are not offered, because per-half corner/card data is not reliably available from the data provider. PickSharper may add, remove, rename, restrict, or modify prediction categories at any time.
4. Prediction lock time
Predictions lock before match start.
Once a prediction is locked, the user may not edit or delete it unless PickSharper introduces this feature or makes an administrative correction.
PickSharper may reject, void, or remove predictions submitted after the allowed deadline or affected by technical errors.
5. Public predictions
Predictions may become public immediately after submission.
Public prediction data may include:
- username;
- selected match;
- prediction category;
- selected outcome;
- displayed odds at submission;
- virtual points used;
- timestamp;
- result;
- simulated return;
- comments or notes;
- ranking impact.
Users should not submit predictions they do not want associated with their public PickSharper profile.
6. Virtual points
PickSharper may provide users with a daily virtual points balance, such as 1,000 virtual points per day.
Users may choose how to allocate available virtual points across predictions, subject to platform limits.
Virtual points:
- are not money;
- are not a real stake;
- cannot be deposited;
- cannot be withdrawn;
- cannot be transferred outside PickSharper;
- cannot be sold;
- cannot be exchanged for money;
- cannot be exchanged for prizes;
- do not create any financial claim against PickSharper.
PickSharper may change daily point allocations, point limits, prediction limits, or related mechanics at any time.
7. Displayed odds and locked odds
For scoring and simulated-return calculations, PickSharper may use the odds displayed at the time the prediction is submitted.
Once a prediction is submitted, the displayed odds for that prediction may be locked for scoring purposes.
If odds are incorrect because of a clear data error, technical issue, provider issue, or platform issue, PickSharper may void, correct, or recalculate the prediction.
8. Simulated return and net profit
PickSharper may calculate simulated return in a way similar to real-world sports prediction analytics, but without real money.
Example model:
- user allocates virtual points to a prediction;
- displayed odds are locked at submission;
- if the prediction is correct, simulated return is calculated using the locked odds;
- if the prediction is incorrect, the prediction may negatively affect simulated net profit, ROI-style statistics, win rate, streaks, and rankings;
- if the prediction is void, the prediction has no winning or losing effect.
The exact formula may differ by market, leaderboard, feature, or beta test.
PickSharper may change formulas during beta.
9. Ranking categories
PickSharper may offer multiple ranking and leaderboard categories, including:
- ROI-style ranking;
- net profit ranking;
- win rate ranking;
- win streak ranking;
- most active users;
- most followed users;
- biggest win;
- biggest odds;
- daily ranking;
- weekly ranking;
- monthly ranking;
- all-time ranking;
- other rankings added by PickSharper.
Different leaderboards may use different eligibility requirements, formulas, and tie-breakers.
10. Minimum prediction requirements
Some leaderboards may require a minimum number of predictions before a user appears.
At launch, ranked boards such as ROI and win rate require at least 10 settled predictions in the selected period. Some boards (for example, most active or biggest win) have no minimum.
PickSharper may change minimum requirements at any time.
11. Tie-breakers
Leaderboard tie-breakers may include:
- ROI-style performance;
- accuracy;
- number of predictions;
- latest activity;
- consistency;
- virtual points activity;
- other criteria selected by PickSharper.
PickSharper may apply different tie-breakers to different leaderboards.
12. Voided predictions
PickSharper may void predictions where:
- a match is postponed;
- a match is cancelled;
- a match is abandoned and no official result is available;
- a market is not settled by the data provider;
- corners data is missing;
- cards data is missing;
- official data is unavailable;
- match data is clearly incorrect;
- odds data is clearly incorrect;
- a technical issue affected submission or scoring;
- suspicious or manipulative activity is detected.
Voided predictions generally do not count as wins or losses.
PickSharper may decide whether a voided prediction counts toward activity, minimum-prediction requirements, or other statistics.
13. Postponed matches
If a match is postponed, affected predictions may be voided.
PickSharper may decide whether to keep predictions open if the match is quickly rescheduled, but the default beta approach is to void postponed matches.
14. Abandoned matches
If a match is abandoned, affected predictions may be voided unless an official result is available and PickSharper decides to settle the prediction based on that official result.
15. Missing market data
If cards, corners, or other market-specific data is missing or unreliable, PickSharper may void the affected market.
16. Manual corrections
PickSharper admins may manually correct:
- match results;
- prediction results;
- voided predictions;
- scoring errors;
- leaderboard errors;
- data-provider errors;
- technical scoring issues.
Manual corrections may change user rankings, statistics, simulated profit, ROI-style metrics, streaks, and other displayed results.
17. AI predictions
PickSharper publishes AI-generated predictions through platform AI predictors — accounts clearly marked as AI that post predictions with confidence percentages, reasoning, explanations, and match analysis. (The statistical match insights shown elsewhere come from PickSharper's third-party sports-data provider, not from a PickSharper AI system.)
AI predictions appear:
- on match pages, in an AI-specific section;
- on the AI predictors' public profiles;
- on a separate AI leaderboard (AI predictors are not ranked against human users);
- in "beat the bots" comparison views against the human board.
AI predictors place a fixed stake per pick and are not subject to the human daily bankroll or pick limits. They are ranked separately and never affect human leaderboards.
AI predictions are automated, probabilistic, experimental, and not guaranteed.
AI predictions are not betting advice, financial advice, or a recommendation to gamble.
18. User manipulation and unfair activity
PickSharper may exclude, restrict, suspend, or ban users who attempt to manipulate predictions, rankings, or leaderboards.
Prohibited behavior includes:
- fake accounts;
- multiple accounts;
- bots;
- automated prediction submission;
- scraping;
- coordinated manipulation;
- exploiting bugs;
- abusing delayed data;
- submitting predictions based on known technical errors;
- selling accounts;
- selling rankings;
- using PickSharper for paid prediction services;
- posting gambling links or referral links.
PickSharper may remove affected predictions, adjust rankings, void results, or ban users with or without notice.
19. Beta changes
PickSharper is in beta.
During beta, PickSharper may:
- change scoring rules;
- reset leaderboards;
- recalculate results;
- change point allocations;
- change minimum-prediction requirements;
- change prediction categories;
- correct historical data;
- test alternative formulas;
- remove or replace features.
Beta results should not be treated as permanent.
20. No prizes or monetary value
PickSharper does not offer cash prizes, non-cash prizes, deposits, withdrawals, wagering, or real-money betting.
Virtual points, simulated profits, rankings, badges, streaks, and statistics have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money, goods, services, or prizes.
